Recruiter

Shelby serves as a Recruiter on the Professional Staffing team in our Greenville office. She places Accounting and Finance professionals across a variety of positions, including, medical billers, accounting clerks, bookkeepers, and accountants among others. Shelby enjoys building relationships with candidates and takes pride in helping candidates find their next career opportunity. She hopes that each person and potential candidate that she speaks with leaves the conversation with motivation and drive to be the best version of themselves and to always put their best foot forward.

Prior to joining FGP, Shelby interned with the University of Illinois Human Resources Department, where she worked for the Dual Career Program. In that role she assisted with finding employment opportunities for the tenured recruit’s spouses. Shelby is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where she studied Social Work.

What is your favorite game or sport to watch or play?

I love to watch baseball. I am a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan! One of my life goals is to go to every MLB stadium in the United States.

What is your favorite travel destination or where would you like to go?
I have been to a lot of travel destinations in my life, even some outside of the United States. My all-time favorite vacation spot is Destin, FL. You just can’t beat the white sand and the turquoise waters. This destination has a lot of sentimental value to me because I spend a week there with my family every summer!

What kind of music are you into right now?
I have always been a country music fan! I grew up listening to George Strait, Alan Jackson, Montgomery Gentry, and of course my favorite, Shania Twain. I love to attend country music concerts and festivals. I try to attend a concert in Nashville, TN at least once a year.
