We are seeking a professional and experienced Accountant to join a growing team in Piedmont, SC. This is a full time, permanent, direct hire opportunity with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of accounting expereince, preferably in the manufacturing industry, and will have excellent MS Excel skills.
Job Description:
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and GL accounts
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Prepare sales/use tax
- Reconcile and post daily bank entries to ledger
- Create and maintain weekly AR and collection spreadsheets
- Provide resolution of past due accounts alongside the AR team
- Post and maintain foreign related party transactions
- Assist with audit and tax preparations
- Support and serve as a backup to AP and AR
- Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, etc.
- Prepare AdHoc reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
- 3+ years of strong accounting expereince
- Manufacturing experience (Preferred but not required)
- Strong experience with MS Office Suites including Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player attitude
Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
- 100% ONSITE
Compensation & Benefits:
- $65,000 – $75,000
