We are seeking a professional Accounting Support Clerk to join a team in Columbia, SC. This is a part time, temporary position. The ideal candidate will have excellent experience with MS Office Suites, and strong attention to detail..

Job Description:

  • Provides general accounting support, including organizing and maintaining financial records, supporting document retention, and responding to routine inquiries
  • Assists with daily transaction processing
  • Provides support for monthly financial and budget reporting as needed
  • Provides support for internal and external audit requests as needed
  • Serves as backup for other duties within the Financial Services department as determined by management
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • 2-3 years of experience in an accounting support role
  • Excellent MS Office Skills

Hours:
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am to 5pm with potential to work either Monday or Friday in addition depending on volume

Compensation & Additional Information:
  • $20 hourly
  • 3–6-month temporary assignment
  • Credit check is REQUIRED upon hiring
