We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Assistant Property Manager to assist with the daily operations for a client of ours in Florence, SC with a focus on marketing. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, have strong administrative skills, and be willing to obtain their PM license within 4 months of hire. 

This position is temporary-to-hire, with standard hours of Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with maintaining property rentals by filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases 
  • Establishes rental rates
  • Organizes property viewings 
  • Performs administrative duties 
  • Inspects property conditions and coordinates inspections 
  • Collects security deposits and rent payments
  • Handles resident relations 
  • Maintains building systems
  • Prepares reports

Qualifications

  • Excellent phone etiquette, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of legal administrative processes related to property leasing and management.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license 
  • High school diploma (Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred) 
  • 1+ year experience in customer service 
  • 1-2 years property management, or hospitality
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Suite 
  • SC Property Management Licensure; or willing to obtain within 4 months of hire 
Compensation and Benefits: 
  • $23-25/hour
