In this role, you will collect, enter, and distribute claims-related information for the team. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for claims-related inquiries via phone, fax, or email, ensuring a high level of customer service in both English and Spanish.
- Accurately input claims data into the system upon receipt of the first notice of loss.
- Provide timely assistance to claim adjusters and managers by completing assigned administrative tasks.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding claim status and assist in the resolution of issues.
- Maintain a professional and empathetic approach in all customer interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluency required).
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in an insurance or claims environment.
- Strong telephone communication and data entry skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other standard computer applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and maintain confidentiality.
Pay: $20/hour
