OVERVIEW
We are seeking a CAD drafter or designer with cabinetry experience for a Cabinetry Designer and sales consultant role. This position is for a very successful and busy showroom in the Greer area and offers a base + commission with approximately 600+ cabinet design projects yearly. 

DETAILS
  • Meet with residential and commercial builders in the showroom to understand project needs, design preferences, and budgets
  • Manage steady inbound leads (no cold sourcing)
  • Create detailed cabinetry designs, drawings, and renderings
  • Design spaces including kitchens, bathrooms, mudrooms, storage areas, and custom built?ins
  • Prepare accurate measurements and ensure designs meet building codes and company standards
  • Select materials, finishes, hardware, and style options based on client requirements
  • Collaborate closely with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Revise designs based on client feedback and project adjustments
  • Maintain accuracy and organization across multiple projects in a high?volume environment
  • Support a small team environment by assisting in various design?related tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Required: Experience in cabinetry design, showroom design, or closely related construction?based design field
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes and cabinetry installation requirements
  • Proficiency with design software such as 2020, CAD programs, or similar
  • Exceptional attention to detail—accuracy is critical in measurements, pricing, and layout work
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide clients through the design process to close sales
  • Ability to work independently and multi?task within a small, fast?paced team
  • High level of professionalism and customer service in client-facing settings
  • Strong organizational and time?management skills
  • 100% on-site role, Monday-Friday 8-4

COMPENSATION
  • Base Salary: $41,600
  • Commission: 3% on each project (paid upon invoicing the client, so even if the client is delayed on payment, that will not affect commission payouts
  • Last year, the person in this role earned $100k+
  • No health benefits
  • After 90 days: 1 week PTO
  • After 1 year: accrues an additional week (total of 2 weeks)
  • Paid holidays, plus Christmas Eve through January 2nd off
