A chemical manufacturing company in the Greenville area is hiring Chemical Batch Operators to join our rapidly growing company! You will operate mixing and reaction equipment, follow precise batch instructions, and contribute to process improvements.

We’re looking for candidates who have a chemical operator or manuf. operator background with an eager to learn personality! This is a Direct Hire position with great benefits and work culture!

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with shift team members to meet production goals safely and efficiently.
  • Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment including mixers, reactors, and pumps.
  • Follow established shutdown/startup procedures for equipment.
  • Share operational knowledge to support team cross-training and capability development.
  • Accurately stage and weigh raw materials according to batch sheets and work orders.
  • Charge raw materials into equipment in accordance with formulas and instructions.
  • Monitor processing parameters such as temperature, pH, and pressure to ensure compliance.
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with chemical processing equipment (e.g., mixers, pumps, reactors) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Solid math skills for measuring, weighing, and recording data.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, batch sheets, and safety data sheets (SDS).

Work Environment Requirements:
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments with exposure to noise, chemicals, and protective equipment.
  • Physically capable of lifting materials, standing for long periods, and working 8–12 hour shifts.
  • Comfortable working in warmer or cooler temperatures depending on the time of year.

Schedule:
The following shifts are needed:
  • Monday through Friday, 3pm – 11:30pm
  • Sunday through Thursday, 11pm – 7:30am
  • Friday through Sunday, 7am to 7pm (36 hours put paid for 40 hours)
  • 8-12 hours of OT optional

Compensation & Benefits:
