Our client is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee commercial construction projects from bidding to execution supporting a senior project manager. You will work with senior management across multiple divisions and act as the point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Direct and oversee all aspects of multiple commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Client Liaison: Maintain primary contact with clients, ensuring all project objectives, expectations, and policies are clearly communicated and met.
  • Project Planning & Strategy: Establish and implement project goals, objectives, and policies, ensuring that all activities align with the overall company strategy.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals. Address any issues related to cost overruns or discrepancies promptly.
  • Construction Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the activities of on-site construction managers, ensuring that projects are executed in compliance with safety standards and construction specifications.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Regularly report on project progress, financial status, and performance to senior management and clients. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Problem Solving: Resolve any operational or construction-related issues that arise, ensuring minimal impact on the project’s success.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management (commercial is ideal)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Industry knowledge and ability to read blueprints
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
