This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Greenville, SC.
Responsibilities:
- Communication & Resident Relations
- Serve as a key point of contact for homeowners, addressing inquiries and concerns alongside your team
- Share updates through emails, newsletters, and community platforms
- Mediate disputes with fairness and professionalism
- Financial Management
- Help build annual budgets and track financial performance
- Collect homeowner dues and assessments, manage payables, and address delinquent accounts
- Prepare clear, accurate financial reports for the Board of Directors
- Partner with accountants and reserve specialists
- Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee the upkeep of common areas so they’re safe and welcoming
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure everything’s in top shape
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to get repairs done right
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all associations follow governing documents and stay compliant with federal, state, and local laws
- Enforce community rules, architectural guidelines, and issue violation notices when needed
- Provide guidance and recommendations to Boards collectively and individually
- Board Support
- Prepare agendas, gather documentation, and attend board and annual meetings
- Maintain records and correspondence so nothing falls through the cracks
- Support boards with elections and other initiatives as part of the team
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in community association management
- Solid understanding of HOA/association regulations, best practices, and governing documents
- Budgeting and financial management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High technical aptitude
