Our client is seeking a Remote Customer Care Representative to join a growing customer service team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service through phone calls and email communication. You will assist with order inquiries, resolve customer issues, and ensure a seamless experience that supports customer satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, empathy, problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer requests, concerns, and complaints via phone and email.
  • Provide information regarding policies, procedures, orders, and inventory status.
  • Handle a high volume of calls with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Research and resolve product availability issues; recommend substitute fixtures when necessary.
  • Enter and update basic orders when required.
  • Follow up on shipped orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support customer needs.
  • Promote products and services while ensuring customer retention.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of professional business experience with significant exposure to customer service.
  • Strong communication and telephone skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • Computer literate; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work as a team player, and adapt to feedback.
  • Experience in high-volume call environments (Verizon, Alorica, or similar) highly desirable.
  • SAP or Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

  • Schedule: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Training: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for the first few weeks)
  • Pay Rate: $20/hr | $41,600 annually once permanent
  • Type: Temp-to-hire (6+ months, no set end date)
  • Benefits: FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met.
