We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our client’s team in Georgetown, TX. This role is critical to supporting customer operations activities in the region. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently after training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, phone calls, and emails.
  • Maintain accurate customer and vendor contact information and build strong relationships.
  • Log repair requests in the ERP system, verify warranties, and coordinate repairs.
  • Manage equipment returns, warranty claims, and prepare pricing for billing review.
  • Handle shipping, receiving, staging, and tracking of products for sales and service teams.
  • Monitor inventory levels, perform counts, rotate stock, and secure assets.
  • Assist with contract renewals and update equipment records in the system.
  • Generate and maintain reports (WIP, aging, open purchase orders).
  • Schedule daily work for field service technicians and coordinate with customers/subcontractors.
  • Create, track, and close service tickets accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate across departments to communicate priorities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Promote a safe and positive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support team success.
 
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in customer operations or related fields (Customer Service, Scheduling/Dispatch, AP/AR, Depot Repairs, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory, Sales Support).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity and discretion with confidential information.
  • Previous office experience preferred.
 
Physical Requirements
  • On-site role in Georgetown, TX office.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Frequent computer use and handling of office equipment.
 
Additional Requirements
  • Background check and drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Range: $20–$22/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
