A rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking a Demand Planning & Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end planning operations as we expand with a new facility in North Carolina. This role is a key leadership position responsible for developing and optimizing planning processes in a high-mix, high-changeover production environment with a large SKU portfolio.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the production and materials planning function with 5 direct reports
  • Execute robust S&OP and supply planning processes across multiple sites
  • Drive accurate scheduling, capacity planning, and demand forecasting
  • Utilize SAP/Oracle (PP & MM) for planning, data analysis, and decision-making
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while ensuring on-time delivery
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, Procurement, and Quality
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supply chain performance
  • Support future multi-site planning strategy and operational integration

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing planning or supply chain leadership
  • Expertise with SAP/Oracle planning modules (PP & MM required)
  • Strong background in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing with many SKUs and frequent changeovers
  • Proven experience developing and implementing planning strategies
  • Effective leadership of both onsite and geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience with forecasting, MRP, inventory optimization, and KPI development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience strongly preferred
