The Engagement Manager supports collaborative initiatives that strengthen local engagement, foster workforce alignment, and enhance community appeal. The role involves working with various partners to move strategic efforts forward, support local priorities, and contribute to Greenwood’s long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with community and business stakeholders
  • Support local workforce and economic initiatives
  • Identify and address the needs of the business community through surveys, meetings, and data analysis.
  • Support efforts to attract, retain, and expand businesses in Greenwood County
  • Partner with local organizations to enhance the cultural, recreational, and economic appeal of Greenwood as a destination.
  • Assist in the development of branding and marketing campaigns to promote Greenwood’s unique identity.
  • Track progress and help coordinate collaborative efforts
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree  in Business Administration, Economic Development, Urban Planning or related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, community development, or related fields
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results
  • Familiar with Greenwood and its regional context
  • Willing to work occasional evenings or weekends
