Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join a team in Greenville to maintain a Class A large scale commercial building that has complex systems. The right candidate will have extensive preventative maintenance and industry knowledge specific to a commercial Class A office building. Some experience that is important to this role is commercial property management experience, experience working with VAVs, chillers, generators, etc.
Hours are Monday-Friday 7-4 with a 24×7 on-call schedule that is used very rarely since this is an office building, with overtime should someone be called in unexpectedly.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility-related systems
- Coordinate tasks with maintenance team to ensure timely completion of projects
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Conduct inspections and walk-throughs to ensure facility systems are up to date
- Respond to maintenance requests during regular work hours or if needed during on-call hours
Skills
- Hands-on maintenance experience required
- Class A building experience preferred
- Punctual and reliable
- Comfortable being on on-call (this is not a 24/7 facility)
