Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Specialist to join a growing team in Columbia, SC. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity.
Job Description

Process accounts payable and receivable; maintain accurate transaction documentation

Review general ledger activity and reconcile financial records

Maintain financial files and support record retention and audit readiness
-
Monitor federally funded project expenditures and verify grant reimbursement requests
-
Coordinate with the Grants & Programs team on budget review and financial documentation
-
Prepare internal financial reports and assist with audits, external reporting, and budget monitoring
-
Support the development of financial procedures, internal controls, and reporting improvements
-
Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations
Required Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree with four (4) years of relevant experience OR bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
-
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in accounting, finance, or grant financial management
-
Knowledge of accounting principles with hands-on experience in AP/AR and general ledger functions
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software
-
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
-
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Hours

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation & Additional Information

$28–$31 per hour
