Our client, a rapidly growing community bank, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Floating Universal Banker to join its team. This position offers a supportive, team-oriented environment and opportunities for advancement within retail banking.

Position Overview
The Floating Universal Banker will provide exceptional customer service, process financial transactions, and promote banking products and services. This role is based at the Mount Pleasant branch but will also provide coverage at the Summerville and Downtown Charleston branches as needed. Candidates must have reliable transportation and flexibility to travel within the metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships
  • Cross-sell products and services to meet customer needs
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer in accordance with bank policies
  • Identify and report potential fraud or suspicious activity
  • Support branch operations and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Teller, CSR, or similar banking role (within the past 5 years)
  • Full-time availability, Monday through Friday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between branches
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated integrity, adaptability, and professionalism
