Our client, a rapidly growing community bank, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Teller to join its team. This position offers a supportive, team-oriented environment and opportunities for advancement within retail banking.


Position Overview

The Teller will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing financial transactions, and promoting banking products and services. This position is based at the Mount Pleasant branch and does not require travel.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process customer deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions

  • Deliver professional and friendly customer service while building lasting relationships

  • Identify customer needs and refer products and services that best meet those needs

  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer in compliance with bank policies and procedures

  • Identify and report potential fraud or suspicious activity

  • Support branch operations, administrative tasks, and team initiatives as needed

  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment


Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Teller, Customer Service Representative, or in a similar banking role (within the past 5 years)

  • Full-time availability: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to operational procedures

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated integrity, adaptability, and professionalism
