We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in administering and supporting core human resource functions including employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and training initiatives. The HR Generalist will act as a strategic partner to leadership and an approachable resource to employees, ensuring policies, procedures, and practices reflect our company culture and values.
Key Responsibilities:

Support and execute HR programs related to compensation, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, and performance evaluations.

Advise management and employees on federal, state, and local employment laws and ensure ongoing compliance.

Review, update, and implement HR policies and procedures to support compliance and operational efficiency.

Plan and facilitate employee training and development sessions on HR-related topics.

Attend and assist with disciplinary meetings, internal investigations, and termination procedures.

Track and manage compliance training, certifications, safety initiatives, and continuing education requirements.

Contribute to the administration of compensation strategies and salary review processes.

Stay informed of current HR trends, best practices, and regulatory updates affecting the industry.

Administer employee benefit programs including open enrollment, plan changes, and eligibility tracking.

Conduct benefit orientations for new hires and ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Assist in the administration of company-sponsored retirement plans.

Maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure data integrity for benefits, payroll, and compliance reporting.

Audit and reconcile monthly benefits invoices and coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.

Uphold employee confidentiality and serve as a privacy officer regarding HR and benefits-related information.

Support the planning and execution of employee engagement, wellness, and HR-sponsored events.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Solid knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and benefit programs.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems.

Experience providing training, conducting investigations, and offering sound HR guidance.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive information.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Primarily office-based with occasional movement between departments.

Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
