Summary:
Our client, a trusted IT service provider serving clients across the Upstate SC region, is seeking an IT Field Support Technician. With decades-long relationships and a strong reputation for customer service, they specialize in delivering hands-on IT support with a personal touch. This is a client-facing role, ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to gain IT experience and learn on the job.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform on-site computer installations and replacements for long-standing clients.
  • Provide general technical support during visits (e.g., basic printer/phone troubleshooting).
  • Communicate professionally with clients and represent the company’s reputation with integrity.
  • Learn and follow established procedures and documentation practices.
  • Occasionally assist with light wiring or camera setups.
  • Use company vehicle for travel to client sites throughout the Upstate.
  • Answer phones and support clients remotely when needed.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • 1–2 years of customer service or help desk experience.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage time and follow directions with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor—this is a client-facing role.
  • CompTIA A+, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Interest in IT and willingness to learn; experience with Windows & Microsoft products.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve using available resources (e.g., vendor tech support).
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and taking initiative.
