We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Assistant Project Manager to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and installation services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires hands-on experience in various landscaping tasks, including irrigation, lawn care, and tree care, while ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the landscaping crew, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Manage landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation system management.
  • Lead the installation of new landscapes, including gardens, lawns, and hardscapes.
  • Perform tree care activities such as pruning and removal as needed.
  • Ensure proper use of tools and equipment by team members to maintain safety standards.
  • Train and mentor crew members on best practices in landscaping techniques and safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in landscape maintenance and installation with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
  • Proficiency in irrigation systems design and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of lawn care techniques and grounds keeping practices.
  • Experience in tree care procedures is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $52,000.00 – $58,000.00 per year
