Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding service to future and current residents to support resident retention and satisfaction.
- Discover, engage, and assist prospective residents throughout the entire leasing process.
- Schedule, coordinate, and conduct property tours.
- Be knowledgeable about property details, availability, rental criteria, and application processes.
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and software-based messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and consistent records of all prospect interactions using AppFolio property management software.
- Assist the Property Manager in preparing for new resident move-ins, ensuring all necessary items are completed for a smooth transition.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations, providing equal access housing opportunities for all applicants.
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to maintain day-to-day operational standards.
- Assist with utility transfers for vacant properties.
- Help with general administrative and leasing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher required (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience).
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Minimum of 1 year of leasing or property management experience required
- Experience with AppFolio property management software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of Greenville and surrounding rental markets is helpful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and residents.
