A corporate law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Greenville office. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly polished professional who takes pride in their work, values collaboration, and thrives in a positive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate brings prior experience supporting attorneys in a professional law firm setting, preferably within insurance defense or workers’ compensation, and is known for exceptional organization, discretion, and attention to detail.
 
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys
  • Draft, edit, and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and filings
  • Maintain case files, calendars, and deadlines with strong attention to detail
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel professionally and promptly
  • Assist with discovery, document management, and scheduling
  • Support attorneys in trial preparation and hearing coordination
  • Manage billing, time entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
 
Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred
  • Professional Legal Secretary (PLS) or comparable certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience supporting attorneys in a professional law firm environment
  • Prior experience in workers’ compensation and/or insurance defense strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to contributing positively to firm culture
 
Benefits & Compensation:
  • $45,000 – $65,000, based on experience
