A boutique law firm in Greenville, SC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receptionist/Legal Assistant to support both front desk operations and legal administrative tasks. This dual-role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys being the first point of contact for clients, and thrives in a professional yet personable work environment.

Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Office Support:

Greet and assist clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner

Answer and route phone calls, return voicemails, and take messages

Maintain a clean and organized office and common areas

Manage mail and package delivery, including distribution to tenants

Coordinate vendor services and building maintenance needs

Track operating expenses and submit monthly cost reports

Oversee office supplies and restock as necessary

Perform daily open/close duties and routine walk-throughs

Take out trash, water plants, tidy bathrooms, kitchen, and waiting areas

Restock items such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, drinks, etc.

Run occasional errands and provide flexible admin support as needed
Legal Assistant / Paralegal Support:

Conduct client intake and manage appointment scheduling

Refer out cases outside the firm’s scope

Enter client/case information in MyCase

Draft basic legal documents and send engagement letters
-
Prepare and send invoices, follow up on past-due accounts

Maintain and update contact lists, case matrices, and firm records
-
Support with document filings, mailings, and delivery to courts/clients

Assist with trial prep (exhibits, binders, e-filing, calendaring deadlines)

Keep legal files organized and up to date

Send client appreciation gifts and holiday cards to referral partners
Qualifications

Prior experience in administrative, receptionist, or legal assistant roles

Professional demeanor with excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of attention to detail

Certified Notary Public in South Carolina (required)

Familiarity with legal case management software (e.g., MyCase) is a plus

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general office technology
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)
Location: Greenville, SC (Onsite, Full-Time)
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
