Our client, a national law firm, is seeking a Legal Assistant for their Charleston, SC office. Ideal candidates must have 5 or more years of litigation experience. In person for 90 days, then 1 day remote, 2 days remote after 6 months.

Requirements:

  • This position requires a candidate to provide administrative support to multiple attorneys.
  • Manage calendaring for all case related deadlines and coordinate travel for multiple attorneys.
  • Candidates should be familiar with the State and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures and should have experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office products and Milana calendaring experience is a plus
  • Candidates must have excellent analytical and written communication skills.
  • Send approved communications on behalf of the Partner and Associates and a diverse range of administrative assignments.
  • Support work includes a high level of trust and gatekeeping of sensitive documents and external communication.
  • Ability to organize and/or shift priorities in a consistently fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities and collaborate with attorneys, legal support staff and various firm departments.
  • Track, organize, and process expense reports, reimbursements, and check requests.
  • Manage and maintain lawyers’ schedules and calendars.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $65,000
