Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Major Account Representative to drive significant new revenue growth by securing large commercial accounts within the Raleigh NC territory. This is an outside sales role focused on strategic prospecting, relationship building, and solution-based selling in the environmental services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue high-value prospects and major account opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Deliver tailored presentations and proposals to address customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term satisfaction.
- Maintain a robust pipeline through diligent CRM management and activity tracking.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 4 years of new customer sales and account management experience.
- Background in contracted service industry; solid waste industry experience required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $60K–$85K + commissions (first-year OTE around $115K).
