Job Summary
Our client is seeking a driven Major Account Manager to join their team and lead sales efforts across South Florida’s education and market. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, driving new business opportunities, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale implementation.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in B2B technology equipment sales, excels at engaging with senior leaders, and thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. This position offers the opportunity to grow market share within a high-potential territory while collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver impactful solutions that support client success.
Territory: South Florida: Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade
Role Focus – Selling IT equipment (laptops, interactive classroom displays, printers) to the schools within your assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Actively seek out and cultivate new business sales opportunities within your assigned territory, establishing relationships with key decision-makers.
- Exceed predetermined sales targets by enthusiastically advocating for IT solutions and services.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams, including sales, operations, and service, to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Schedule and conduct regular client meetings, both virtually and in person, to build relationships and close sales opportunities.
- Utilize advanced CRM tools to meticulously manage and track sales activities, maintaining an organized and efficient sales pipeline.
- Provide real-time updates to senior management on prospecting efforts, sales pipeline status, and client interactions, demonstrating proactive sales behaviors.
- Deliver impactful proposals and presentations that compellingly demonstrate the value of the company.
- Lead the entire sales process from pre- to post-sale, ensuring seamless implementation and client satisfaction.
- Consistently surpass monthly revenue goals through innovative and decisive sales tactics.
- Take ownership of organizing and executing the post-sale delivery and implementation of solutions at customer locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant sales experience preferred.
- B2B enterprise sales experience in technology preferred.
- Demonstrated experience confidently engaging with senior-level decision-makers.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and adept at using virtual meeting platforms to effectively drive sales discussions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems, enabling efficient management of sales activities and pipelines.
- Possession of a valid US driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for daily travel
