A local private learning center is hiring a Mathematics/Science Teacher for middle school students. In this role, you’ll supports students with small-group instruction and mentorship around personal growth, financial literacy, civic engagement, and career readiness.
 
Schedule: Monday – Friday,  8am – 3:30pm
 
Responsibilities:

  • Teach math and science for middle school students

  • Encourage growth in academic, social and life skills

  • Develop and execute lesson plans

  • Assess student progress

  • Serve as a supportive mentor

  • Support high school students in virtual learning programs

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Teaching or working experience in Mathematics/Science field

  • Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • Ability to create an inclusive, compassionate learning environment

 
Compensation & Benefits:

  • $40,000

  • Paid Christmas and Spring Breaks

  • Health insurance not included
