Position Overview:
Responsible for monitoring and supporting a multi-platform telecommunications network that includes SONET, DWDM, IP, and Ethernet technologies. This role provides in-depth support across core transport, IP, Ethernet, and voice service infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first line of defense for monitoring and managing core, distribution, last-mile, and customer-premise voice and data installations.

Research and document remediation strategies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of deployed technologies and their operational impact.

Prioritize issue resolution in a 24/7 network operations environment, ensuring minimal disruption and swift response.

Perform basic system administration, including troubleshooting, patch management, and scripting to automate recurring tasks.

Act as an escalation point for technical issues from other internal teams, providing resolution and expertise as needed.
