Role Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot distributed wireless infrastructure and next-gen mobile networks to ensure service continuity and adherence to operational standards.

  • Respond to system alerts, performing Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting to maintain uptime and performance.

  • Manage and resolve service tickets, documenting incidents and resolutions within internal systems.

  • Analyze system metrics and alarm trends to recommend performance improvements.

  • Remotely support field personnel with technical troubleshooting and configuration guidance.

  • Maintain accurate records of network hardware and ensure monitoring systems reflect current configurations.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and manufacturers for hardware support and issue resolution.

  • Maintain security at key network interfaces, including firewall configurations and network entry points.

  • Provide training and mentorship to regional team members on incident response and platform usage.

  • Manage returns and replacements for failed equipment and oversee spares tracking.

  • Support asset inventory efforts and ensure all hardware is tracked and maintained.

Core Skills:

  • Willingness to travel up to ~15% as needed.

  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over deliverables.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with a collaborative, mentoring mindset.

  • Proven hands-on experience diagnosing wireless and network system issues in both office and field environments.

  • Proficiency with software tools including Microsoft platforms, Visio, and wireless infrastructure design software (e.g., iBwave or similar).

Experience Requirements:

  • 4+ years in RF system monitoring, DAS or small cell operations, and wireless infrastructure troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with fiber infrastructure, passive in-building systems, and wireless LANs.

Education/Certifications:

  • Relevant technical certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, Server+, or a comparable degree are desirable.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience using network performance and diagnostic tools.

  • Understanding of RF testing techniques and tools.

  • Formal training or certifications from distributed network equipment manufacturers.
