As an Outreach Manager for SC Student Loan, you will represent the organization throughout your assigned territory by building relationships and providing critical education on college planning and financial resources. The primary objective of the position is to establish and improve relationships with constituencies statewide, including but not limited to colleges, high schools, students and parents.
 
This is a direct hire, full-time position that requires daily commute around your local territory. Residency in Columbia, SC is preferred.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen community relationships and support marketing initiatives across assigned region
  • Connect students and families with financial resources to pursue higher education
  • Deliver presentations at high schools, colleges, and community organizations
  • Assist in evaluating college costs and explaining options for managing or reducing student debt
  • Partner with other groups to guide students through scholarships, grants, and funding opportunities
  • Attend 2 annual conferences
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working in education, outreach, counseling, or student services
  • Ability and willingness to travel daily within assigned territory
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • $50,000 – $60,000
