Our client in the residential construction/home improvement sphere is seeking a motivated, humble, and customer-focused Outside Salesperson to join their team.
You’ll be the face of their company, helping clients find the perfect solutions. This is a field-based role focused on providing expert consultation and recommendations to customers while building relationships with local builders to stay ahead of new home construction needs. No cold calling is required—clients come to you!
Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients who call in requesting garage door replacements or new installations.
  • Provide expert guidance, ensuring solutions meet their needs and budget.
  • Regularly meet with local builders to stay informed on upcoming new home projects and installation requirements.
  • Represent the company at the annual Home Builders Show, building awareness and networking with industry professionals (may occur on a weekend).
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market pricing to effectively position our products.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales data.
Qualifications:
  • Previous outside sales or customer-facing sales experience, ideally in a construction, residential, or home improvement industry.
  • Strong consultative sales skills, with the ability to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in the field.
  • Valid driver’s license.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • $40,000 base with targeted earnings of $75,000 – $100,000 annually.

Location: Field-based (local residential area)
Schedule: Monday through Friday schedule, with limited weekend requirements.
