Qualifications

We are a licensed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing contractor with 50+ employees and $25M+ in annual revenue, specializing in service, controls, planned maintenance, installation, and equipment replacement. We’re looking for a BIM Manager to lead our digital design and coordination efforts, driving accuracy, collaboration, and efficiency across our project teams. 

 

Responsibilities:  

Lead and mentor a team of 3 BIM Coordinators. 
Oversee BIM software and systems (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks) to ensure stability, reliability, and accuracy. 

Coordinate directly with Project Managers to align design models with project needs. 

Manage advanced 3D modeling for MEP projects, with a focus on mechanical and plumbing systems. 

Support the integration of BIM into preconstruction, design, and field coordination. 

 

Requirements: 

3–5 years of experience as a BIM Manager in mechanical contracting or MEP-focused projects. 

Advanced 3D modeling knowledge and strong Revit proficiency. 

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks. 

Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing design and constructability. 

Strong leadership skills with experience supervising BIM staff.

Responsibilities: 

Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate costs.
Estimate materials, labor hours, and equipment for mechanical projects.
Prepare detailed, competitive estimates and proposals for Project Managers.
Review, price, and submit revisions and change orders.
Collaborate with Project Managers during proposal and preconstruction phases.
Stay current with market pricing, labor productivity, and industry best practices.

 

Requirements:

7+ years of industrial, construction, or MEP estimating experience.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction drawings.
Proficiency in reviewing blueprints, specs, and technical documentation.
OSHA 30-hour certification required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with project teams.
