Our client in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Litigation Paralegal with experience in personal injury and workers’ compensation to become an integral part of their dynamic team. This is an in-office role with hours from 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, giving you the chance to work closely with a dedicated group of professionals who take pride in delivering exceptional results while maintaining a friendly, upbeat atmosphere. You’ll enjoy being involved in every phase of the litigation process—from legal research and drafting pleadings to managing discovery requests and motions. Your day will be a balanced mix of focused document work and meaningful client interactions, offering variety and engagement. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to attend court hearings, gaining firsthand experience in supporting litigation proceedings.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
  • Organize and maintain case files, including client correspondence, medical records, and other relevant documents
  • Schedule appointments, depositions, and court hearings
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner
  • Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare summaries of legal documents
  • Attend court hearings as needed with attorney
 
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience as a paralegal in litigation and personal injury law
  • Proficient in using document management systems and legal research databases
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Familiarity with data entry and recordkeeping processes
 
Benefits & Compensation:
  • $60,000 – $75,000
