We are seeking an experienced Patient Services Manager to oversee their patient services department. This position will manage department staff and direct/implement procedures to ensure accurate and timely patient enrollment. Excellent communication skills are required to be successful in this role. This position will also assist the Director of Patient Services.
 
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have management/supervisory experience, to include interviewing/hiring, training, problem resolution, managing workflow, and performance evaluation/management.
  • Conduct performance reviews and assist in setting long-term goals
  • Lead hiring efforts, onboarding, and new employee training
  • Oversee patient documentation and ensure compliance with pharmaceutical partner requirements
  • Coordinate with clinics regarding patient eligibility and status
  • Monitor workflows to improve efficiency and maintain quality standards
  • Support audit preparation and adherence to HIPAA and safety regulations
  • Have experience with enrollment processing, data reporting, and auditing processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, OR high school diploma and at least 10 years of experience, in the healthcare/pharmacy field in a position of similar capacity.
  • Experience in the nonprofit and/or healthcare sector strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team development skills.
  • Be able to Interact and work effectively with diverse groups of people, including healthcare organizations, community leadership, and members of the community.
  • Have advanced verbal and written communication skills and be able to present to small and large groups.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word computer programs.
