We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Planner/Buyer to join a excellent manufacturing team in Greer, SC. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong planning skills in a manufacturing setting and will have excellent ERP system skills.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain production schedule
  • Manage and update planning parameters
  • Coordinate with internal partners on customer order priorities
  • Procure raw materials
  • Review and control inventory levels to meet production needs
  • Manage weekly cycle count program and maintain inventory balances
  • Purchase MRO items
  • Oversee supplier performance
  • Negotiate pricing and terms
  • Establish relationships with vendors
  • Work closely with internal partners to improve processes and handle discrepancies
  • Oversee and handle cost reduction initiatives
  • Handle and support supplier evaluations
  • Become a key player in inventory management improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 3-5 years of expereince in a Planning role in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent experience with ERP systems (Epicor experience is ideal)
  • Great knowledge of MRP Systems

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)
  • 100% onsite

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $60,000 – $75,000 (Depending on qualifications & expereince)
