Join our team as Controller, an integral member of our plant management team, who will oversee analysis, reporting, and control of plant product costs and financial topics. In this role, you will provide consultation to the plant leadership team on business-related issues, share financial results, and manage actions for cost control.
This role will also serve as a liaison to corporate accounting and executive leadership, presenting monthly/periodic cost data to executive management. You’ll also be responsible for conducting cost analysis, implementing process improvements, developing, and monitoring budgets, managing month-end closing, and partnering with the Logistics Manager on inventory discrepancies.
To excel in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing accounting, a working knowledge of accounting/financial principles, and a bachelor’s degree. Your leadership skills should be well-honed, and you should have a strong background in manufacturing systems. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is a must. SAP experience is highly desired. You should also possess intellectual curiosity, initiative, a collaborative working style, and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a focus on cost, quality, and delivery are also essential.
