Position: Plant Controls Engineer
- Primary resource for maintenance and reliability of PLCS, HMI consoles, & power distribution systems
- Maximize uptime and reduce interruptions of control systems and equipment
- Improve reliability and performance of plant PLC and communication systems
- Identify areas of improvement
- Design and manage plant electrical power distribution systems, PLC control systems, and HMI applications
- Preview and approve all detailed electrical drawings for production and installation
- Create written capital project requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or 10+ years’ experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience in Allen Bradley PLC controls, HMI development, plant level power distribution, process integration and optimization
- Proficient in Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk software applications
- Experience in Chemicals, Pharma, Liquid Food Processing Facilities, a plus
- OSI PI products, preferred
