Project Manager

Summary:

Our manufacturing client in Duncan, SC is hiring a Project Coordinator to join their team. This role is similar to a project management coordinator role and will involve coordinating with the procurement team and sales support.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Communicating with customers daily via email regarding projects.
• Oversees compliance with industry standards like ISO, IRIS, and AAR regarding defective material handling and defect prevention.
• Identifies and implements best practices for handling rejected material from external customers, driving process improvements across departments.
• Issues comprehensive reports on rejected material, ensuring clear communication with vendors, internal teams, and customers.
• Manages sales orders for tracking purposes and follows up on RMAs to meet deadlines.
• Provides training on RMA processes and develops performance metrics for product rejection, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintains clean and organized work areas following 5S practices. Approves finished products and releases them for shipping.
• Supports customer inspection processes and conducts internal and external audits.
• Coordinates with field service for timely completion of FMI activities.
• Stays updated on industry developments through education and technical publications.
• Supports organizational goals by fulfilling related tasks and adhering to relevant procedures.
• Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to be a critical thinker
• Ability and experience reading blueprints
• Use of basic hand measurement tools
• Ideally 5+ years in a manufacturing environment of some sort.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understand of root cause and corrective action skills is a plus

Compensation: $55,000-60,000

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
