Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician with hands-on wet lab experience to support quality assurance and laboratory operations in a chemical manufacturing environment. This position reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for testing raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
The role also supports research and development activities, including sample preparation, production line trials, and developmental projects.
A chemistry degree is preferred; however, candidates with 3+ years of relevant wet lab experience will be strongly considered.
Key Responsibilities

Perform wet chemistry testing on raw materials, finished products, and development samples

Conduct manual titrations and analytical testing procedures

Assist with calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of lab equipment

Prepare and package samples for customer shipment

Maintain, clean, and sterilize glassware, lab supplies, and work areas

Manage laboratory inventory, supplies, and chemical stock

Maintain accurate daily logs, test results, and equipment records

Analyze data and prepare reports for management review

Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) using lab software

Support special laboratory and development projects

Identify and report safety concerns within the lab
Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Chemistry or related field or equivalent hands-on experience

Minimum 3 years of wet lab experience in a chemical or manufacturing laboratory

Experience conducting manual titrations and solution-based testing

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to work occasional overtime or on-call as needed
