Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing
- Prepare and review a wide range of real estate documents including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, closing checklists, and title and survey review summaries
- Coordinate due diligence efforts, including obtaining and reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and environmental reports
- Assist with drafting and filing corporate formation and governance documents related to real estate transactions
- Support attorneys in managing complex closings and post-closing matters
- Maintain organized files and databases related to real estate transactions
- Communicate with clients, title companies, surveyors, and other third parties
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in commercial real estate law
- Proficiency in SoftPro is preferred
- Strong knowledge of real estate documents, title/survey review, and closing procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Paralegal certification or degree preferred, but not required if experience is sufficient
