Overview:
Our client is seeking a professional and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join their team. This role is the first point of contact for clients and visitors and plays an essential part in ensuring smooth communication and organization within the office. The ideal candidate will bring prior legal experience, strong communication skills, and a client-centered approach to their work.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, schedule meetings, and route inquiries to attorneys, paralegals, or staff as appropriate.
- Manage incoming and outgoing postal mail.
- Utilize Clio Manage for scheduling, document management, e-signatures, and case-related tasks.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person regarding appointments, updates, and documentation.
- Provide administrative support for attorneys and the firm as needed.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, including light cleaning between client meetings.
Qualifications:
- Prior legal experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with legal software (Clio Manage experience strongly preferred).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, friendly, and client-focused demeanor.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)
- Friday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Total of 29–30 hours per week
- Starting pay: $20–22/hour
