A regional firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its workers’ compensation defense practice in North Carolina. Applicants will work remotely with residence ideally in Western North Carolina. Experience within this practice area is required.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support senior attorneys
  • Professionally represent clients
  • Provide legal support and guidance
  • Manage case files, evidence, and documents
  • Handle the discovery process
  • Manage correspondence
  • Conduct thorough investigations
  • Prepare and file documents with the court
  • Track billable hours and prepare invoices
 
Qualifications:
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina
  • 2-5 years of workers compensation experience
  • Workers Compensation experience preferred
