OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Sales Manager with waste management experience to direct and coordinate sales efforts for a waste management company in the upstate. This position is located in Powdersville, SC for a company that values both hard work and flexibility!

DETAILS

  • Work closely with company leadership to develop and implement training strategies, sales tactics, pricing plans, sales forecast, and sales goals within budget 
  • Direct sales and administrative personnel, including hiring, training and and management
  • Assist with new customer solicitation, bid prep and customer retention 
  • Meet regularly with sales personnel to review sales activity, retention activities, sales performance, and training needs; conduct ride-along’s with team members to provide additional support
  • Proactively contact assigned accounts to identify customer needs, changing requirements or potential issues and resolve accordingly
  • Stay aware of market behavior and competitive trends to proactively manage territory accounts
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of available services, policies, and pricing options to assist sales personnel as the need arises
  • Complete sales reports, review Customer Service Agreements and contracts, and other necessary documentation
  • Monday-Friday 8-5 with a lot of flexibility for someone dedicated and self-motivated

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B2B Sales Management experience required
  • Waste Management experience required
  • Proven experience helping sales teams hit or surpass their goals
  • Comfortable working in an office in Powdersville, SC M-F 8-5
  • Supportive leader with experience training sales teams
  • Collaborative and timely communicator

PAY/BENEFITS

  • $85k-$100k base
  • Additional bonus based on team hitting goals
  • Additional (small) commission on selling large accounts
