Our client, a national manufacturing company, is hiring a temporary to hire Sales Support Specialist for their team in Chesapeake, VA. This candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative support tasks, including tracking and updating quotes, bid processes, plan status, and various clerical tasks.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer and route incoming calls
  • Track quotes, updating as needed
  • Place orders on vendor websites
  • Create proposals and sales contracts for customers
  • Compile leads for sales team
  • Data entry regarding metrics, sales figures, etc.
  • Maintain, update, and monitor inventory as requested

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of on-the-job experience in an administrative, clerical, or support role
  • Ideally in a construction/manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in using office software, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Schedule:

  • Monday- Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
