Our client, a national manufacturing company, is hiring a temporary to hire Sales Support Specialist for their team in Chesapeake, VA. This candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative support tasks, including tracking and updating quotes, bid processes, plan status, and various clerical tasks.
Essential Functions:
- Answer and route incoming calls
- Track quotes, updating as needed
- Place orders on vendor websites
- Create proposals and sales contracts for customers
- Compile leads for sales team
- Data entry regarding metrics, sales figures, etc.
- Maintain, update, and monitor inventory as requested
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of on-the-job experience in an administrative, clerical, or support role
- Ideally in a construction/manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in using office software, particularly Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
