Job Description:
- Oversee the general ledger, cash and reserves, receivables and deposits, invoice payment processing, payroll processing and monthly journal entries
- Assist with financial reporting
- Participate in the yearly budget process
- Assist and advise on financial matters
- Work committees to ensure appropriate use of resources and monitor expenses
- Assist the controller in financial recordkeeping
- Assist the controller in working with external auditors
- Prepare payroll
- Assist with HR duties such as benefits support, and new hire and termination paperwork
- Preparation of benefit plans monthly payments and reconciliations
- Attend finance committee meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, of Business Administration
- 5+ years of experience in an Accounting role
- Strong GL and monthly close skills
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Strong MS Excel Skills
- QuickBooks experience
- 20 hours per week – spread out through the week
- Monday – Friday
- Contract to Hire
- $25 hourly
