Database Administrator (Mid–Senior Level)

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong skills in Azure SQL and Snowflake. The role involves managing database environments, optimizing performance, supporting data pipelines, and ensuring cost-effective and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize Azure SQL and Snowflake environments for reliability, performance, and security.

  • Monitor database health and performance using tools such as DataDog and native cloud monitoring solutions.

  • Perform query optimization, indexing, and advanced performance tuning.

  • Support data integration by managing and monitoring Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines.

  • Collaborate with development and reporting teams to design scalable, cost-efficient solutions.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues, ensure database security, and maintain disaster recovery protocols.

  • Document processes, configurations, and performance metrics.

  • Stay up to date with cloud database technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server administration and performance tuning.

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake data modeling, ETL/ELT, and optimization.

  • Knowledge of cloud data platforms, pipelines, and cost management.

  • Familiarity with database security protocols and compliance practices.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
