This is a direct hire opportunity with a 100% onsite, full-time schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Review architectural drawings, civil plans, and client specifications to develop precise and complete cost estimates
- Own the end-to-end estimating process for all custom home and renovation projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, operations, design) to align scope, budgets, and schedules
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, civil engineers, and trade partners as needed
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor bids; verify scope, quantities, and unit costs
- Prepare detailed takeoffs, bid packages, closing statements, and project documentation
- Code and track invoices in coordination with accounting and project management teams
- Support ongoing value engineering, vendor negotiations, and purchasing decisions
- Maintain historical cost data and stay current on market pricing and construction trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5+ years of estimating experience in residential construction
- Luxury homebuilding experience a plus
- Proficient in takeoff and estimating tools
- Strong knowledge of custom homebuilding processes, materials, and finishes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical with attention to detail and accuracy
