We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Duties
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
- Utilize project management software such as ProCore, Prolog, and Primavera to track project milestones and documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to review schematics and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations.
- Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all work is performed according to agreed terms.
- Employ time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Prepare reports for stakeholders detailing project status, challenges faced, and solutions implemented.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction project management for commercial construction.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Blue Beam is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, schematics, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.
