Overview:
Our client is seeking a driven Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate growth for their IT Services practice. This role generates qualified sales opportunities through structured multi-channel outbound efforts and supports the Technical Sales team by building a high-quality pipeline.
The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B technology prospector, confident speaking with both technical and executive stakeholders. You’ll use phone, email, social channels, events, and strategic networking to uncover needs and book qualified discovery meetings.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years in B2B business development or sales; MSP/technology experience preferred.
- Proven success with multi-channel outbound prospecting.
- Strong understanding of IT services (support, cybersecurity, cloud/M365, networking, infrastructure, endpoints).
- Excellent communication skills with executives and technical teams.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Navigator).
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and accountable.
Key Responsibilities:
Multi-Channel Prospecting
- Execute high-volume outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, direct messaging, video outreach, and events.
- Build targeted prospect lists using research tools, CRM insights, and intent data.
- Personalize outreach around challenges in Managed IT Services, cybersecurity, cloud, networking, and modern workplace solutions.
Lead Qualification & Meeting Generation
- Conduct discovery to qualify prospects based on needs, complexity, budget, decision-makers, and timelines.
- Convert leads into high-quality meetings for the Technical Sales team.
- Maintain consistent follow-up cadences and manage early-stage engagement.
- Use structured qualification frameworks for pipeline consistency.
Sales Collaboration
- Work closely with the leadership and Technical Sales team on ICPs, solution offerings, and value propositions.
- Provide feedback on lead quality and account engagement.
- Partner with Marketing on outbound campaigns, nurture efforts, and event-driven outreach.
Relationship Building & Market Presence:
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and partner gatherings.
- Build relationships with referral partners, vendors, and community organizations.
- Monitor industry trends and market triggers to identify new outreach opportunities.
Compensation & benefits:
- Base salary range $75k – $85k plus commissions
