Our client in Greenville, SC is seeking a remote and temporary HR Generalist to support day-to-day processes including onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and HRIS administration. Candidates must be proficient in UKG Ready.
 
Location: Remote
Length of Assignment: 3-4 months
Hours: 8am – 5pm
Pay Rate: $30 – $40
Benefits: FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support new hire orientation, employee documentation, and background checks
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in UKG Ready
  • Administer and troubleshoot within UKG Ready, including workflows, timekeeping, and employee self-service functions
  • Generate reports and dashboards to support compliance, audits, and HR metrics
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, leave tracking, and employee changes
  • Serve as a resource to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, pulse surveys, and communications
  • Help resolve routine employee relations matters, escalating to senior HR staff as needed
  • Ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local regulations (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, etc.)
  • Support annual processes such as open enrollment, performance reviews, and policy updates
  • Assist with internal audits and data tracking for compliance (e.g., I-9s, EEO-1, ACA reporting)
 
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of human resources experience
  • Hands-on experience with UKG Ready (Kronos) required
  • Solid understanding of HR laws and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
  • Experience supporting multi-state or remote workforces
  • Familiarity with leave management, benefits administration, or HR reporting
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification preferred
