The Universal Banker will be based at the Downtown Charleston retail branch and is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and promoting banking products and services. This role requires adaptability, integrity, and a collaborative team spirit.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Bank Teller, CSR, or similar role (preferably within the past 5 years)
  • Full-time availability

Major Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions while delivering excellent service
  • Engage with customers to maintain the bank’s community-focused spirit
  • Introduce and sell banking products and services
  • Proactively inform customers about additional products and self-service options to meet their financial needs
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks as requested by the Branch Manager
  • Actively participate in a supportive and team-oriented work environment

Schedule & Compensation

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Pay: $24/hr
  • Consistent weekday schedule — no weekends
  • Benefits: FGP offers contract employees benefits including minimum essential coverage insurance, a fixed indemnity plan and a 401k retirement plan once eligibility requirements are met.
